So thats to get your proportioning valve back to the right angle of the dangle...

Out of curiosity, how much does that lift it by...?

And is that enough to bring the rear brakes more into play...?

Roughly 3" the same amount that the rear was lifted by the Landcruiser springs. Rear braking is the same as it was before the lift, I've tested that to be sure.

what guage steel did you use on the bracket?? looks about 2-3mm

ive seen one somewhere that looks over engineered cant find it at the moment though..yours looks about right!!

It's about 3mm, and is plenty, about the same as the original mounting anyway.

There's a L***rover show on at the three counties showground and my neighbourhood is heaving with Discos and Defenders. If I had the extra height I'll have in a few weeks I could get out there and terrorise them.

Maybe we should all converge here when next years meet happens... a sort of Brighton Mods and Rockers type thing.
