Recall Work

I received a letter from Toyota (GB) yesterday saying I could contact my local dealer to have the recall work done on my 1995 KZN130!

The work was completed a week ago at Plymouth (20m from where I live). A case of one hand not knowing what the other is doing?

They also said that my local dealer was in Croxley Green, Watford, even though the letter was posted to me with a Plymouth post code!!

Well, I all booked in for my recall work this Friday at Ipswich Toyota. So, will drop the Surf off Thursday PM and pick up a car to get me back home/work etc. Then pick up the Surf Friday PM.

Wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW I have taken photos of the intact ball joint boots - is that sad?

Well, I dropped the 06 Yaris off and picked up my Surf this evening.

No free champers, No free diesel and a very half hearted attempt at a clean, looks like a wet sponge was wiped over the bodywork, missing the roof !

But I got a free keyring !

Not bothered about the Champers, but the diesel would have been welcome, oh and a free vehicle check - all OK and in the green.

there is one more thing you will be getting now and that is JUNK MAIL, since having my recall work done - sales, managers specials, service, have all had a go - however I have decided that as I am undecided they will have to give me a lot of test drives....esp. if I am going anywhere special!!!!!!!
