Tv ???

can anyone give me any help on a logik 27 inch lcd tv ,
its about 20 months old
was watching it the other day and the pic just went ,sound still works , if you turn it off and leave it for a while it come on for a few sec then disappears again,
if you leave it off over night it will stay on for longer
any advice would be much appreciated (apart fom get a new telly)

Faulty caps tend to work the opposite way around. They'll work to some degree
as they warm up. Most likely cause is dry joints. When the fault happens, shine a
torch on the screen and see if the picture is slightly visible. If so, it's the backlight
circuitry at fault somewhere.
