As Bushwacker so kindly pointed out on another thread, my Surf looks like its squatting at the back - I assume this is down to tired shocks and if so, then I hope the ES3000s that are going on next month will fix it....

i got the same problem but only on one side....>sigh<

it was my own fault as whilst camping @ a rock fessy went off roading there and found a nice incline and "Jumped" my surf... got it about 6 - 8 foot in the air but came down with a bump.... and the result is one rear passenger side sagged... could this be a shock? Spring?

Also what are the best shocks to buy? i like off roadin but dont do it all the time....

                n e ideas please?

What you need is the 'Full Monty' +2 inch springs, +2 inch rear coil spacers, longer shocks all round, 2 inch body lift and bigger tyres. Check out my truck parked next to a standard Surf.

Have you checked to see if anything has broken?

sadly... i work in puters ... lol so only know how to look @ the obvious...

i looked at the springs they look ok... not broken... so this led me to beleive it was the shock.... i need to get it sorted for a quyick fix.. before i go back to work.... is it possible to fit new springs and shox without any specialist tools?

I have a mechanic bloke but i dont think he has done 4x4 stuff b4...

Nice lookin truck there jock... dotn think i can afford the all round... this needs to be a quick fix for now... maybe just the back end... that'll cost over £100 just fer parts... (the jump was fun though - always wanted to jump a 4x4 lol )

Shock absorbers don't support the weight of the truck, they just dampen the spring re-bound. If you're still on original springs then you may have 'finished' them off by your airborne antics!

Fitting the rear springs is one of the easy jobs. If you've got a mechanic who knows how to change springs generally, then the Surf will be a piece of cake to him.

                          ok just looking on milners....

Rear Coil Springs (Pair) 20% Stronger = 44.00 per pair

                          is that the correct springs?

Also what else would i need to get from thre? i want to make sure i got everything/./.

Yep, that's the ones. That's all you need unless you're replacing the shocks aswell, in which case you'll need to buy them too!!

Spring compressors will help (but no abosolutely necessary) with fitting, but your mechanic guy should have some.
