  • Belt Up !

    Hi all,

Do Surfs have a seatbelt warning light?

I have read somewhere about it, but can't see any reference to it in any manuals.

Life on the edge is short, but the view is great !

Mine does, but the switch in the seat belt socket is knackered, which means the light is on constantly (or it would be, if I hadn't cut the wires to the switch...)

    It just does, OK?

OK, I'll take a look over the weekend. The Manual I've got don't seem to match the Surf I have, OK it is the Aus Max Ellery's Hilux 79-97 Repair Manual.

Am still having problems getting dash light/switch bulbs. Have tried Mapliz and they are a tad smaller tailed type but seem to do the trick.

      Any ideas?
