I may be incorrect, but I don't think you can apply a chrome finish to aluminium.
The wheels would need to be steels. If I remember correctly, the chemicals used
in the electrolysis bath aren't too forgiving with alloy.
Just had a look. I was incorrect. Whereabouts in the North East are you?
It's a phaffy process, so I would assume it's extremely specialised. Three
different platings are required, with a lot of prepping beforehand and inbetween,
so another downside is that it sure as hell won't be cheap. Buying some new
wheels or polishing the alloy might be easier or cheaper. (I really would make
a good doom-monger).
