Sunroof fun

Anyone in a postion to compare sunroofs between 2nd and 3rd gen trucks?

Basicaly I need to know if a 2nd gen sunroof will fit in a 3rd gen that currently has a piece of clingfilm that doesn't look genuine Toyota....

Isn't the roof line on a 3rd gen wider than a 2nd gen... even considering the roof rails ona 3rd gen... should fit...? Doubt the internals are interchangeable though...

Is this just an excuse to get the angle grinder out...?

Weld the old one closed, tidy up welds.. cut a 2nd gen in... job done...
