Anyone go paddling yesterday?

Seen on the A331 yesterday, heading towards the Hog's Back and Guildford - a pristine XC90 tippy-toeing along the central reservation with all the tin boxes, trying to avoid putting it's feet in the flood in the underpass (only about 18 inches deep).

Surf went through at about 25mph - water, water everywhere, but not a drop inside...

Don't think the couple in the MX5 were too impressed when they disappeared under my bow wave

I did something similar a few days ago when we had very heavy rain.. the surf ploughed up and down flooded roads with no problems...other 4x4 timidly tested the water i went through no problems... except...

one of my new clear indicator housings became a fish bowl .. i removed it emptied the water out.. rinsed it under the tap.. but its still not as 'bright' as its mate on the other side

And they say no one needs a 4x4 in this country! They dont refuse a tow out of the $hit though
