Water pump studs

Just an 'if needs be' question. Are the studs awkward to remove from the
water pump? Just in case I need a tad more clearance.

Nope, they're just screwed in like bolts. One of mine came out easily when I remove the fan assembly.
Might want to put some threadlock on when you re-fit them though.

Easy to remove. Use two nuts, screw one on by hand till it stops, screw another on against the first, tighten slightly and remove stud by using spanner on the first.

Cheers chaps. They are just standard M8, 8mm bolts/threads, I assume?
(Just making sure I get the correct bolts).

Pretty sure they are M8 X 1.25.

I have some spare OE bolts from Jottos water pump when I fitted it to Dirtydogs (2 pumps , 1 engine = spare bolts). If you need them PM and I will post to you .
