Legend has it, that there's a few old land speed record attempt cars buried on pendine sands from the 1930s or around then!

There's at least one. I think it was called 'Babs', but the name of the driver escapes me right now.

When we're working out of Pendine, we usually stay in Saundersfoot. Nice little place with a couple of nice pubs and restaurants. It's either that or mix it with the blue rinse brigade in Tenby!
