    4th gens

    Are they body on frame or not !?

    According to the excellent page on Tonys site (brown-nosing before the slaging) , they are:
    2003: 4th Generation
    Toyota introduces the fourth-generation 4Runner. It is an all new model for U.S., Japan, & Export Markets. Related to the Land Cruiser Prado not previously offered in the U.S. This platform will be shared with the new Lexus GX470. Remains body on frame construction but severs the connection with the Tacoma truck line.

          Uh oh. looks like Toyota are going the way of the Jeep with this one. For years they churned out "proper" 4x4 vehicles that looked the part of, aswell as doing the job in hand, now, unfortunately they're going for the looks ie: kids school run buses, mums shopping trollies and sunday drivers.
          You cant beat the 1st to 3rd Gen shapes in my opinion, but hey, I guess thats evolution

                i dont think that 94 photo is a 94 motor, no wide body

                  pics are all of 4runners. They don't seem to have many wide bodies over in the US, unless we're talking people
