  • Who's had the most Jobs...

...Or the weirdest, best or worst?

Since I was old enough to have hair on my tockers, jobs I've had include, and in no particular order:

    Forme Maker
    Busker
    Screen Printer
    Signwriter
    Session Musician
    Musical advisor to "Emerdale Farm"
Mobile Squash Court erector [for championships]
    Barn Painter
    Runway markings whiteliner
    Furniture Mover
    Extruded plastics machine operator
    Stock Controller
    Bowling Club Manager [Crown Green]
    Barman/Bar Manager
Reggae Club Manager [and yes, I was the only whiteboy in the club!]
    PC Engineer
    Network engineer
    Relief Pub Manager
    House Renovator
Made those promotional fluffy things with ribbons on them
    Infrastructure Manager
    Tech Ops Manager
    Ops Manager
    Managing Director
    IT Consultant
Part-time looking after my wifes shop person...

Can't think of anymore but I'm sure there must be...

Best one was working on Emmerdale. To cut a very long story short, I had to teach one of the characters, Archie, who I shared a house with at the time [in real life, not on the show!], to mime playing a bass riff for a"village Band" he was playing with in the "village Hall". The song was pre-recorded and the band, who were actually real [except Archie] played along
with it a'la TOTP's. Great money, great laugh and a free bar tab at the hotel at the end of
    the day...

    Shab.
