Weird how folks think its hot just cos it gets into the 30's. Radio stations, even radio 2 talk about it all day.

Those that bang on about it all the time should go to Dubai in July where it does get hot.

After a week or so out there in July, this weather we are having at the moment would feel very comfortable. I have left hotels in Dubai and not been able to see within a second as the sunnies get covered in condensation as soon as you step outside.

52 degrees there last time I was in town in 2005. All the construction workers were given a holiday as per state requirment when the needle hits 50 degrees.
I used to have a surf me!

It's all relative- you expect it to be hot in Dubai.

I follwed a gritting lorry home tonight. WTF I thought! Turns out they were spreading sand onto the melting tarmac on certain stretches. Now that's weird.

Thats getting a bit warm in a factory but today will not break any records outside. I drive a company car all day, basking in the air conditioned luxury and all over the north today from leeds to newcastle the hottest recorded temp was 31.

OK, this is a renault telling me this so its probably not right as they are the worst cars in the world im my opinion, but the same car yesterday reported 33 on the same roads at the same time.
