There will be a very slight amount of play on the wheels, pulling the tyre in and out at the top and bottom. You will hardly notice it, just a very slight amount. If you have got so much that your wheels move or make a knocking noise while you are checking the play, then either your hub nut is slack or the wheel bearings are worn out.Comment
