I got mine from 4x4 accessories & Tyres - leeming bar A1 although they do a postal service. They,re great. look abit flimsy but don't be fooled - they're very strong. Made of stainless steel and are low profile. the rails have to be bolted throught the roof using captive clinch nuts. the span bars are also stainless with a tough plastic sheath. made by Ironfly and cost around 100 pounds I think.
alternatively go to a local breakers yard and get some estate peugeot bars - this was recommended to me by someone on here a few years back - fit lovely apparently.Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

I've always used thule bars on all my cars and parents to carry up to 4 kayaks at a time with no problems as yet. The canoeing fraternity down here swear by 'em as we've all seen bent paddy hopkirk and halfords bars.
Thule bars on my old escort went from ashford to ripon, holding a good 90mph near enough all the way with 4 kayaks, paddles, and gear in total weight must've been close to about 80/85kg.=========
