I always wave if I see another Surf - have difficulty telling 2G from 3G from the front anyway

...all wrapped in a nice cheap plastic cover. Look at them comedy plastic 'bullbars'! Sorry if I stung the 3rd gen owners sensibilities. I'd have an intercooler one maybe, but I honestly think the 2rd gen *looks* nicer.

They're ALL better than Pajeros at the end of the day, for which we may be truly thankful!

Back in the dim and distant past when I was looking to buy a Surf, I drove a 3rd gen at Worcester Rd Motors. I *nearly* bought it too until I noticed the paint looked like it had been cleaned with a brillo pad and they wouldn't give me ANY warranty at all. Sold as seen he said. As soon as you take it off the forecourt its yours he said. I walked.

The chap I bought the 2nd gen off couldn't have been more helpful.
