Anyone into coins/medals etc..?

My Grandmother is having a clear out of all sorts of paraphenalia hoarded over the years, and I've come across a boxed, commemorative silver medal for the 1964 Tokyo olympics.

Just wondering if it's likely to have any significant value? It does come with a little note, saying it's piece number 925 of a limited run of 1000..

Any help appreciated!!

that olympics had indonesia, n.korea and south africa banned from it for several reasons (politicaland the attempted Emerging Forces Games participation in '63) so that can only increase it's value, but as to what it should be???? sorry mate no idea.

your best bet is to stick em one at a time on e-bay for a long listing time , my old man sold a lt badge for over 300 quid , did not expect to get more than a 10 quid for it, so you never know.

Err, YES!! That's the kiddy! Same type of box, same certificate, but only the silver medal. (The others aren't missing, it's only a one medal box.)
