If you're driving down, it would actually enable you to have a longer holiday, as it wouldn't take as long to get there, and Mrs Slim would have more time to go shopping, so she'd be happy!!!
yeah but more time shopping = more money out of my wallet!!
well did contact desiel bob this morning!!
but the e-mail reply said that they are out of stock and would be two to three weeks before he can make any more...
i realy wanted it fitted before holiday if i was to have one so may give it up as a bad job...we will see...

Ooops...I must have had the last one then...he just called me & said it should be with me by Weds.
Could you post pictures of where the TPS is. I'm not entirely sure and I don't want to fry anything by connecting it up wrongly,
TIA,
Shab.
Not that easy to see, really, without taking the air filter tubing off.
And, mine's a 2.4, so will be slightly different to yours anyway.. If you look at the throttle housing, (where the throttle cable attaches) there wil be a smallih round sensor, with 4 wires coming off it. Mine is actually marked with 'throttle sensor' on it..
Dodgy pic attached!!
And before anyone says anything, I WILL be tidying the wiring up when I get the chance!!
but before I toddle off to the truck, what colour is the live from the wiper motor, I haven't got a volt meter so no way of knowing [should've bought one from the monkey shop when I got the crimpers].
Mines the blue one. I have a plain blue, a blue with a white tracer, a blue with a black tracer, and a yellow with a red tracer. IGN switched 12V is the plain blue.
On the connector, it's at an angle, and it's the lowest terminal. That will make sense when you look at it!!!
