  • Temptation is.....

    we have one factory running on gennies for the next few months, so have rather a large supply of red derv... only 6000 litres in a nice big bund outside my workshop.. and they top it up every other day!!

    everytime i look at it i start drooling!!


    damm i need to get that dye out!! lol

    I thought even if you got the dye out they could still tell it was red even though it wasnt red in colour erm you get my drift anyway guy on e-bay selld tabs to remove dye, so a friend says..... cough cough

      It's not worth it. If HMRC know there's a red-diesel tank on site they can, and do, pop round and dip tanks.

      They can tell at a concentration of 1 litre in 10,000 so anything that "removes" the dye is unlikely to be succesful at stopping HMRC detecting enough to procesute. And they ALWAYS prosecute.

            This is where two tanks would come in handy, One secreated about the under side, Three tanks if your fiddleing with veg as well!!
