Woohoo! I got my baby back from doctor Tony. A full service, new boots and a 2" Lift. It Looks great drives even better and the lift has reduced tyre noise so much I almost fell asleep. My grin just got bigger. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Must be lower air pressure that high up - so sound finds it more difficult to travel through the thinner air

                hehe.

Kinda dull going home, drove a lifted T reg intercooled 3.0 one direction, then drove a stock 2.4 on 205 tyres back. Definatly a big difference.

Hmm I think it's cos I'm higher of the road. I was cruisin at 90 down the M3 and all I could hear was the gentle 2800 rpm ticking over. Pics will have to wait till I get home next week as I left the camera behind. I'm in Hove on Friday and Bristol Sat & Sun, each time at the cricket ground. If anyone wants a look!!!

I know tyres can make a massive differance to road noise, but just cant imagine a 2' lift making any differance, but we live and learn? How much are these lift kits? Mine is noisey on the back?

If the back's noisy, it could be the bearings. Tony told me that mine might go that way in a year.
