She'll be fine shortly I'm sure - the valve seals are a relatively easy job according Dr Anglegrinder, and I'm trying to find some wheels to experiment with.

As for the MX5 replacement, not sure - we've considered everything from an S2000 to a Lupo!

Wish i had the money to get an s2000!! Personally i was to have another sportscar i'd have another Mitsi FTO, even though i had a skyline before the surf, i loved my FTO more.

I saw this on the Sunseeker Rally . Awesome peice of kit, watching it tailslide on tarmac around bournemouth pier was a sight! It should of fallen over! Out in the forests it was incredibly quick, and sounded fantastic.

It was there with a twin 110 and two V8 discos, fully stripped and prepped.

I'm not a huge LR fan, but I'd have it!

We had one of those as a courtesy car - my brother saw us in it and called me to say "I like your noddy car" LOL.

As for the FTO, I really don't like em, I think they are way too slow for the engine size and they don't hold their value at all. I test drove some Skylines including a Tommy Kaira version and was very impressed but actually went for the Surf as we needed a more practical car. I have no idea what we will end up with - if anything.
