Whats the story big brother it used to be that when you clicked on 'Currently Active Members' at the bottom of the mainpage you could not only see who was private messaging ... but who they were planning on sending it to. I've just seen 3 peeps PMing at the one time and in the interest of pure noseyparkers worldwide think you've all gone a top secret step too far.

and now the inevitable ..........

Haven't changed anything Jim, will speak to my tech guru tomorrow and find out why

hehe - being nosey... I worked this one out a while ago...

If you are answering a PM then the name of the person you are PMing shows...

If you are writing a new one and haven't put the name in it doesn't....

i not a computer buff m8 so me.
i happy to plod on, and pick up the odd tip now and then.

OK had a look and there is no way on the forum to limit whether you see the PM addressee or not so I guess it's a lot of people just not putting the who to until last. I tend to do this myself, not out of any fear of people knowing what I am doing, just cos I always seem to forget and then try and send it and get an error.

So It's not a privacy thing.
