Cracked wheels :( HELP!!! !

picked up the wheels at the weekend

they are HUGE!!! (33/12.5)
the tyres are perfect but the wheels have somehairline cracks
(no mention of this in the advert)

im sure the guys are not trying to rip me off
but i dont know what to do know

option A
give them back and ask for a refund

option b
buy new wheels and put the tryes on them 15/10/R15
(is this even possible never looked into doing that kinda thing before)

option c
try and get the wheels fixed
not sure how or if this can be done

i will ring them later today to let them know there is a problem
the guys i got them off are here
they are doing up a VW hilux to use in the desert
very interesting DVD makes me wanna go play on sand dunes

B yes you can
C can get the alloys refurbed but personally i wouldnt trust them

Depends how deep your pockets are and what you are after, £204 is still a good price for 4 hugemungus tyres.

Ask for a refund! You can fit the tyres onto another set of rims but you can buy the AT2 style for between £55-85 per corner any way. Ave cost for getting the alloys sorted is going to be between £35-100/wheel depending how bad they are. Over all if he didn't say about the damage on them you have not made any great saving getting the package. It will probably cost the same again to get them fixed and i wouldn't like to trust them going off road.

it's actually a TARO but exactly the same... just badged as a VW for import restriction reasons... (probaly cos of the war!!)

i have been offerd a full refund and he siad he will swing past and collect

still tempted to buy some wheels and put them on
