    Mine's 2,750 rpm at 70MPH. Also, my speedo is spot on, according to my GPS.

    A mates Disc****y is 5MPH out!!
    It just does, OK?

      i assume you took that pic on a rolling road?

      mine does 70mph @ 3250rpm
      I got me a new Surf baby yeah!

            Odd. In both my 3rd gen and 1st gen the speedo matches spot on with the satnav/gps. In other cars I've tried it with (1999 Astra, 2004 Astra, 2003 Berlingo), the speedo in the car reads about 5 mph slower than the GPS. Annoying!

                  i would say that ur speedos are slightly out then cause you will get between 2 and six mph slower on any sat nav due to laps time unless ur sat nav is hard wired in to ur speedo of course in which case it will be spot on......

                            I have got to roll around on the wet concrete in a minute or two so I will get the diff codes etc.

                            That picture was taken by my rear seat passenger on the way to Salisbury Plain

                            It was on a flat section of motorway. Not while rolling downhill. My speedo was checked on the rolling road, where my cousin works and was found to be within 1% at worst across the range 10MPH to 80MPH. I asked him to check beacuse I was commuting to Waterloo from Luton every day and passing at least a dozen speed cameras each way.
