  • Wild winter

Hi guys, thought I would post a few pics of my winter in Les Arcs. Plenty of snow to play in with the truck, and thanks Stevo for all the help before the trip, it ran great and seems to get better, new head is very smooth and never missed a beat even with some the harsh weather we had.

Nice! always fun to play in the snow.
What tyres did you run on and how did they perform, as I'm in the market for a new set myself.
By the way My surf is a dead ringer for yours.

      Nice pics.

I have a Surf ski rack if you would like it. It fits on the spare wheel and when you take it off it forms a back pack frame (at least I think that is what you are supposed to do with it). I holds two pairs of skis by the look of it.
      It's only a hobby!

I got myself a lovely set of roof bars fitted and put skis on there, also means i can put a roofrack on too.
I will have a look at the tyres tomorrow, but they worked great, didn't even need chains most of the time, and they wear really well, in 2 years don't seem to have worn at all.

Wouldn't do much for the ground clearance I suppose.
