this one can easily be moved when you move house etc
and will help reduce elec bills and help enviroment

They can work really well. It depends on where you live and topography. Air isn't really that efficient as a fluid, but anything is a bonus. One of my drillers is having it installed at the moment, I'll get some info if you want. In theory you can run it for your own purposes and sell any "spare" back to the national grid. So it's not as daft as it sounds!

One feature I don't like the look of on this model is the method of interconnecting with your existing mains system. You must have an existing mains grid connection to use this model, no problem there for most people, but it also consumes a small amount of your mains provided power in order to regulate its connection to your system.
This small consumption in not so worring as it will be more than offset by the power it generates, but it does mean that if the mains fails the turbine will shut down too, its therefore only usefull for improving the Greenness of your consumption and reducing your bill, but will not provide the sort of emergency mains failure power supply of other models/methods.

but I have looked at the price of the ones with batterys,
as it seems all the ones that feed into mains cant give you power in powercut

and the battery ones cost a bomb, well over 10k
i dont have that much moeny to spend

Ouch, would take far too long to recouperate that amount!

I guess the limitation of no power without mains becomes an acceptable compromise when the only alternatives are so much more expensive to purchase (not to mention ongoing costs of periodic battery replacement).

not so keen now i have discovered the advertised 1500 quid prices (including installation) are TARGET prices when they are in full production of the units
people are getting quotes for 3-5 grand for these units at the moment

not worth it for that!
will wait until prices come down
