eBay ads are full of inaccuracies and over enthusiastic descriptions. At least Mr Surf is not selling little ball bearings (worth about 20p if you include the zip ties) for £4 or making appeals for dog food.

I must admit that I like to ask stupid questions of people who are selling stuff on eBay but most respond with humour and realise they are having the mickey taken out of them.
Take a chill pill Mr Surf. Look at the positive way people speak of TonyN and Stevo, because of the customer care they provide and learn from them. You never know, I may be in the market for a 4th Gen, just as soon as I have won the lottery.

If someone really HAS been sabotaging his auctions, then that is REALLY not on. I'm not surprised he's brassed off, and to be honest, I would choose a stronger word than 'weasel' for the perpetrator.

My missus runs an eBay business too (circa £50k per year turnover) and people jerking you around, or even arguing with you about what you are selling (yes, it happens) is more than an annoyance.

Anyway, we all seem to be mates again, lets keep it like that!

Assuming that youve got the ID right and Mr Surf is indeed the spoon guy,He never ever said hes the only Surf Dealer in the UK. What he said was hes the only dealer in the UK who deals EXCLUSIVELY in SURFS as far as hes aware. ( big difference)

this thread started off soooooo well and then just slid into obscurity. It was a bit of a page turner and I have read the lot, cover to cover (well some of it I had to guess at!). When I'm on my deathbed I want that 30 minutes back.

mr surfs cars do seem like very nice ones but his attitude stinks, i still have all of his very abusive emails he sent me all because i questioned his knowledge about surfs ! which turned out isn't very good (neither is mine).
i told him to come onto this owners club to get his facts right i.e that the mk3 surf did come with recaro seats which are different to the ones in the mk2, the reply i got back was basically i dont care about your little sad owners club, i am mr surf how dare you question my knowledge,i am right you are wrong,i have been dealing in these cars long enough to know what im talking about ! he did eat humble pie for that because he is WRONG !
there are a few members on here that have had similar replys from so called mr surf, well mr surf dont just assume that you know everything about surfs because you deal in them, currys deals in hifi but they dont know the first thing about them.
before you go biting peoples heads off get your facts right !!

On the serious side, if anyone from here has sabotaged auctions or sent virus they will be banned. Thats not acceptable.
