  • Bumper Brackets

Those little L-shaped pieces of metal with studs in, found at each end of the front bumper.

Are these the things that Roughtrax want £40+ for? Or am I being misled?

I need a new pair since I broke both getting the bumper off to clean the rad, but £80 seems a bit steep.

(And having got the bumper off, what I mainly see is the aircon rad. If I have to take THAT it off it's NOT going back on.)

When someone parked their Escort in the front of my 4Runner more than 2 years ago the brackets for bumper were 57.72 each +vat from Toyota

hehehe, i had an old brava pickup with nudge bar....had to use it on a regular basis for just this reason, twice on same car and drove past where used to live yesterday and they were STILL parking accross the start of the driveway.

some people just do not take the hint.
i swear, it was like that when i got here...

We are talking about the 2" x 2" x 1" L-shaped brackets with two 2" studs in each? Please tell me you're talking about a different bumper bracket. I am NOT paying £40 for four square inches of steel and two bolts.

Why not just make up replacements? That is what vices and
          lump hammers are for.
