4x4 Button vibrating/rattles

Not a major problem but my 4x4 button rattles constantly. This is now driving me round the bend.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you sort it?

you put a wedge of plastic or something similiar in the sides of button we had a huge thread about this on the old forum

Yes we did and the best trick was to cut a small piece of velcro and wedge/stick it in the side of the switch.

I think I started the thread on the old site....6 months on and I still haven't fixed my own button yet!

The best suggestion, and the one I'm going to eventually do, was to depress the 4WD button and then put a small bead of clear rubber sealant around the inside lip of the button hole...wait for it to dry, and then when you click the button out again it rests against the rubber and, Hey Presto, no rattle!

Or just put a rubber band around it like I did Temporary solution, but it works a treat!
