  • Auto or Manual ?

I just know Bushwhacker will have the info but here goes !

Just got back to work after busting three toes on the left foot, I know I've only had my 3rd gen for three months but the auto seems so much more attractive now that I'm taped up for another 4 weeks so

Do I change ? has my trusty machine depreciated much since the 28th Feb?

Is the insurance higher for auto's ?

so ;Auto or Manual ? wot do you think Guys

my surf is my first auto and im not going back! i love it, ultimate in lazy driving... especially when the vehicle is so heavy. im sure i lose out on fuel consumption and acceleration but i'm glad I got the auto... it's as easy as stop, go, left and right
I got me a new Surf baby yeah!

My first Auto too.....and I always said I wouldnt have one.
Living in Oxford theres always queues and especially after a night shift I'm glad I dont have to do the old clutch thing.
I can see the attraction for the manual but must admit I do like the auto on the surf.

My dealer gave me back within 200 pounds of what I paid him 10 weeks after buying my first one when I traded it for a newer 3rd gen. If he is decent he should do the same.

Check it engages forward and reverse as well as the gears in between. Also check kick-down. If this all works its fine.

                          There simply is NO contest.

Is there something wrong with yours? I live out in the sticks and can drive for miles on country lanes knowing exactly what she is going to do just before she does it. Bags of torque and you can switch overdrive off if its up and down on the hilly stuff. I have a manual Laguna at my disposal as well as the wifes sporty little number and I always take the surf.........
