Me to 4 year son- "Hey, you'll ruin your Dinkey cars by playing with them in the flowerbeds you know!"

Son: "But you play with your car in the mud Daddy!"

There was clearly no good response I could give to that....

Kids are great.

My grandaughter asked why the dog kept stopping and sniffing the walls. I told her it is because she is reading invisible messages left by other dogs. Next time the dog stopped whe was sniffing in big wide arcs across the pavement. 4 year old grandaughter asks, "What is she reading now?"
9 year old grandson says, "Graffiti."
