steven gerrard proved that he is the greatest player in the world yesterday, and probably the best ever for Liverpool.
for 2 years running he's been the defining factor in both Liverpool's cup come-backs. there isn' a more complete player in the world, and definately no-one else who can change the shape of a game so dramatically.
in my opinion he is 2nd only to george best in all time football greats.
and he's still going to lift the world cup for us as well.i swear, it was like that when i got here...Comment

Nonesense! Two of West Ham's goals were from schoolboy errors by the Pool. Carragher should have left the cross to Reina because he had it covered, but then given his total gaff for the second goal, maybe not. Liverpools goals had quality stamped all over them!
