Don't forget Pratts Bottom. Can't remember whether it is Essex or Kent.

My favourite for strangeness has got to be Moggerhanger in Cambridgeshire.
    It's only a hobby!

Now here's a poser for you all

It's obvious that an area of the country was split according to the compass - this area was probably named after the tribes or Sects and became known as Sex !!!

If you study a map you have the South Sects area otherwise known as Sussex, likewise Middlesex, Essex (East Sects) and Wessex (West Sects)

Is it a coincidence that there isn't a North Sects as that translates to Nosex hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder why it can't be found !!!!

There must have been 2 very shy brothers living in York hundreds of years ago as there are 2 neighbouring villages very close by called:

          Askham Richard
          and
          Askham Bryan.

Clearly they both wanted to date a couple of local girls but neither had the courage to ASK!

There's a road in Lewes called Cockshut road, and I take my dogs for a walk at Butchers Hole Bottom.

You could always go and see the landlord, Hugh Janus at the Old Cock Inn in Little Hampton Street for a quiet drink
