OK - the kettle is in the kitchen and anyone wanting tea when I'm at work is free to help themselves!!

Looks like we got 3 mixers then which is great as there are 3 sites for mixing and laying!

am working the Friday night so Sat will be a Zombie day for me....
Mentioned it to the woman I sleep with ...... we could toss some beer in the truck and come down the Sat night(we will get lost bet on it) I could get in the way and she could make tea on the Sunday.............

I take it this is the Basingstoke establishment rather than the Stevenage Residence??

Ok - plan is - arrive Sat pm, BBQ etc & camp over for those that want to then hit the concreting in earnest on Sun am (OKay - I'll do bacon butties....)

The raw materials are arriving on Friday, and the target is to finish concreting the stable yard and cement in the fence posts (so all those nice poeple coming for the wedding who don't have the privilege of owning a 4x4 can drive through without getting muddy), then to cement the floor of Tony's store shed so he can move all his "stuff" off the field and yard and make room for the marquee and stuff, and the horses.

Though it sounds a lot it isn't a massive area and with 3 mixers I'm sure we will be finished in time for some nice burgers and beers at lunch time Sunday.

Motrav is coming up Sat am to help shift the final earth from the yard.

OK, the weather forcast is pretty dire for Sunday, just checked and its a little better, but still not great.

Play it by ear, no one wants to camp in the rain, and go home all wet having none nothing.

We're starting it Saturday anyway, so come on down still if you want.

Weather for the weekend is looking worse and worse.... We'll probably still start on Saturday (if nothing else we can do the shed floor) but forecast for Sunday is heavy rain and high winds so I doubt much will be possible.

Up to you if you still want to risk it and come down, but I doubt camping will be much fun in 20mph winds and torrential rain!!

To be honest, its pretty dire all weekend, it'll be no good laying cencrete then the rain washing it all away, and we've no way of covering it up easily so I think we'd better postpone it.

stuupid weather, I thought we where sposed to be a drought!!!!
