  • Cleaning up engine oil

We've got a bit of an oil leak on the truck,it's everywhere , a real sticky mess,so I was just wondering if anyone's got any good tips or ideas for cleaning all the oil off underneath so I can actually see where the leak's coming from. The cheaper the better as I fear a repair bill is coming my way
    Any sudgestions gratfully recieved.

    Andy.

or a cheaper non branded de-greaser.

use a "paraffin gun" or aerosol.

strong detergent in your jetwash mix will do.
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

He does a good job on those pennies, very clean in 15 seconds.

fairy liquid sprayed on neat and left 10 mins (cold engine!)
then blast off with pressure washer
ive used it to de-oil birds in the past and also scrubbed spilled oil off the road with it
at the end of the day................ it gets dark

I usually chuck a load of sand over spilt oil, that soaks it up!
