Grease is best, stickier the better. Copperslip will work, but as has been pointed out before, Copperslip is faintly abrasive, so in about 100 years it'll have worn through steering stops. Its designed for anti-seize rather that lubricating.

Thickest, badest, meanest grease you can get your hands on! You don't want it to wash off in the first puddle.
