decent roof bars
Does anyone out there know of a set of roof bars that are available for my 4-runner, if not of the shelf, is it a big job to fit bars from another vehicle, has anyone done it before?.

Hi there, Hellfords do a thule type off the shelf this is the type I have, looked like much better quality than the rest. They may not have some of the bits in stock, but its worth the weight.

ARE THE THULE BARS JUST FOR THE FRONT HALF OF THE ROOF ? COZ I WAS REALLY ASKING ABOUT FULL LENGTH BARS EVEN IF IT MEANS FITTING THEM FROM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAR!

Yes mate, front half only, if you need one further back you will probably have to rivet or bolt an additional bar on due to the lack of gutters.
