  • Idler issues...... again!

Okay, it's the Smurfs MOT this Sat and I was having good old pre poke around when I discovered that the bloomin' idler is knackered again. They seem to be failing within less than a year, this is it's third MOT and third idler. The vehicle isn't used excessivley (to early to look for the dictionary!), so all I can put it down to is rubbish/shoddy products.

I can think of only two other suppliers to buy this from (I'm not going back to the place I bought the last two from), Roughtrax or Toyota. Does anyone have any thoughts on the two suppliers..... and a part No for 'yota please?

    Cheers.....

Don't know where Roughtrax's one come from, I've not any problems with them so far and I only use Roughtrax for parts these days for the same reasons (apart from odd parts).

Toyota will be top quality, but you'll pay for it.

      Cheers Tony...

Oh, do you think it's worth while using the repair kit? My issue is with the bottom ball joint.... can this be changed?
