Nice, so the old Buick lives on eh? Rover bought the rights to this cast off from the yanks a long time ago. Buick had shelved it because of various manufacturing problems. Still Rover did well with it to the point that this engine is now always called a Rover V8.

Shame the cars were not as good as the engine. I remember the SD1 V8 my mates dad ownwd from new. Nice but rubbish build quality as we all know.

Yep. We got a small block V8, and they got the jet engine! Something tells me that aint a fair deal there.
