  • Do I Need New Rear Springs?

There was a recent thread where someone, probably TonyN, gave the measurement from the top of the wheel rim to the wheel arch. I have spent ages searching and need to know if the 12" I have measured, to the bottom edge of my arch extensions, is correct?
    Cheers!

After I'd fitted my new springs (Pro Comp 2" lift) the measurement from top of rim to arch was around 14½". The short answer to your question is YES!

        Roger,
Thanks for your reply to the question but I am confused

Question 1 was in the thread title. "Do I Need New Rear Springs?"
Question 2 was : 12" I have measured, to the bottom edge of my arch extensions, is correct?

Which are you answering? I am having a moment!

Got the truck on level ground today. Measuring 19.5" from the centre of the hub at the rear and 20" at the front. Guess thats a good enough excuse to put the 2" longer springs on the back and ES9000 shocks. Not sure about the front (ES3000?) and tweak the torsion bars.
Of course then I'll have to have bigger wheels/tyres
Not that I am looking for an excuse...........honest!
