There is no free database now but if you go to www.pocketgps.co.uk they charge £19 for the year which is cheaper than what tomtom are chargeing...Now here is the downside you will need to down load POI edit and then convert the file to what ever the file is that the Garmin uses from the OV2 file that tomtom uses...
