  • At last ???

I know that this should realy be in the basement but the basement bird (mrs sumo) is sooooo happy that at last I got round to finnishing Bunnies lift that I should post it in general.
It loks high at the front as the spring hangers are touching the bull bar brackets,so the bull bar may have to go if it gets in the way.Now all she wants is BIGGER wheels and tyres.
Thats all Lindas fault, ever since mrs sumo saw the bullet she keeps mumbling things like 31s and mudpluggers.Oh well anything for a quite life.

    Looking good Rick.

What's wrong with the basement. Has somebody lost the key?
    It's only a hobby!

If the spring hangers are touching the bar now , it will not have any movement when it goes over a bump and will make the ride hard and could snap the spring or just flatten it out like my old Runner springs went due to seized shackles .You need to let the spring move forward on compression .
I may have a customer for Bunnies old tyes if you want to sell .
      Looking good by the way

It might be worth fitting D-Flex drop shackles.

don't see that they're any good... get extra droop, but no pressure on the ground from the spring... just the weight of the wheel?

Yeah, but with two wheels on the ground only one will spin. Usually the one in the air is the one that spins, not the one that is on the ground.

BTW, I am in agreement with ditching the bull bar. Make a custom bumper that sits higher than the original. I know you love working on that Zook Rick.
