Got my new insurance quote through yesterday.
£223.23 with £100 excess through Liverpool and Victoria.

Admitedly I got a 10% discount as a CSMA member but hey, add 20 odd pounds to it, and its still a bargain!

That fully comp or T.P.F&T mate? Just got my renewal through from Aidrian Flux for £260 fully comp inc. class 1 business use and she who must be obayed as named driver.

Its fully comp with 9 years NCB. The "ministry of nag" is also a named driver.

I just called Liverpool Viccy and got quoted £915+30. Sweet JC, how on earth did you guys manage £260? I am 36, 6+ yrs NCB, 2 cars, Liverpool post code (ahaa! goes everyone) health, mortgage insurance throught L&V for a bit of customer clout.

Any other ideas to look at?

I did chat to Bell. A rather curt if efficient desk-jockey informed me it would be £630 for their services.

I got a great deal as a second car with Bell.

Which guide survey for insurers recently seems to recommend the likes of Tesco and M&S so you could always get your picnic together whilst sorting out the insurance that lets you go on one...

I did try Tesco a few years ago, and they gave a great price, although wanted a high excess, but were no use at all on modified cars (had a breathed on scooby)
