    a big hello to you all need to tighten wheel bearing took brass cap of removed brass nut and washer undone six bolts of hub but it would not come of any ideas its a 1994 3.0l 2nd gen kzn 130 m.o.t booked for next week many thanks

      thanks for that bushwaker but when the two 8mm bolts are put in hub still solid

        Have you removed the cone washers? If not, cover the whole hub with a rag and give the edge of the hub a hefty whack with a hammer.They can be a b****r to get off.

          i think thats whats stopping it are they fixed to hub tried tapping it with scewdriver need to hit it harder and try that thanks for quick responce

              Ah, cone washers.....

              It's Hammer time! de-dede-de......

              Its the only way to get them out easy. Taken 4 of the buggers off today!

                Use a nylon faced mallet, then you can pound away on the hub without damaging it (+ it's really good therapy)
