nice toy, but it tends to over tenderise the rabbits for eating...

Sounds a bit like my mate in the Hebrides - drew his 12 bore out of the armoury to take out some bunnies over the weekend and slipped his .357 magnum into the gunslip ....... needless to say he didn't use a single 12 bore cartridge but there were bits of bunny all over the place !

I love my surf to bits but when it comes to going after freddie at night its the only time my old mans ranger double cab has the edge, 360 vision! knocking the scopes isnt an issue then either.

Thought about getting a .17 centerfire and used one for a while but just the size of the bullet just didnt give the killing power of a .22250 so thats what i went for, but i will say the .17 was exceedinly accurate. As i opted out of the centerfire ways i just had to get a .17 rimfire, what a rifle! Bunnies just think i'll just run away over her to about 150yrd...then SMACK, the .17 has taken care of them to!

never shoot a 10/22 out of your n/s/f/ window as the brass falls in your heater vent, doh!!

sold my pistols just got a 10/22 and a remy 700 .223 for bigger stuf and long range crows....
shoot at club , altcar and on several farms , surf was for hunting and it is good at it...
