I hate MOT testers!

Failed the '89 on a chunk missing off the side wall on a tyre, a sidelight bulb and a hole in the sill/floor pan joint. Oh and a smoke test.

Best way of curing the smoke test anyone?

Got three days to borrow a wheel and tyre. Needs to be a 31/10/15. Will put the old one back on after test. Its not that badly damaged.

Add some Veggi b4 you take if for run (so it's well warm) before taking it back ... Good Luck

my surf was smokey, i read that atf would clean your injectors so to test i put 1 ltr in my diesel cit` bx and it ran ok with less smoke at mot time they only did i full throttle test and it passed on that,it helped that it had just been over the nat speed limit in 4th and i kept it running when i arrived.
in the surf i filled the fuel filter with atf(mineral not synetheic) and started it up and as advised on the forum drove it like i stole it,switch off o/d on m/way next day it had less smoke still some but better

i stuck my rooster up there... but it was a bit big so i just used the beak....

the rest of it made a nice roast for tea!
