Out with the caravan last weekend and the field was a real quagmire. Ended up rescuing a disco with van hooked up, hyundi tuscon, trooper and several vans abandoned by owners. What a great rally. Pity the subaru managed ok, stopped me getting a clean sweep.

I hope you charged them a fee.
If any one of those other drivers were tractor drivers/farmers, they would ask for at least £20 to pull you out if ever you got stuck.

Some of us farmers are generous and will pull people out for nothing! I took great pride when at the age of 13, a fella walked to our farm as he'd got stuck next to the lake where he'd been fishing. Should of seen his embarasment when i hoped in his disco, stuck difflock on and gently drove her out, without the use of a tractor! The muppet had been sat in this bog, flooring it then dropping the clutch, without any diffs locked. No wonder he got stuck!

I have pulled one of those big Kontiki motorhomes off a camp site after it got stuck. The heaviest I have pulled was a broken down (unladen) 7.5 Tonne Ford Cargo. I got him off lane 1 and onto the hard shoulder. He was amazed how easy it was and so was I.

I pulled a fiat punto 50 yards up the road in reverse last week when the little smeghead parked it across my driveway
