    it's REALLY straightforward.

unbolt everything, including steering column, gear linkages etc. (but don't disconnect, just loosen them!)
take off front bumper and remove rad cowling.

then jack up the body (making sure to keep an eye for any tight wires of fuel/brake lines)... insert spacers and lowere it back down!... bolt together and bobs yer uncle!

not sure of any differences on a 2nd gen, but it's pretty much that straight forward.

take your time and look out for anything untoward while lifting are the best tips!

oh yeah, not sure what bolts come with the kit, but mine were all different lengths...

lay them out and compare them with the ones that come out so you don't end up with a short screw in a deep hole!!!

and do the lift one side at a time, not front to back!

When you fit the kit, remove the centre console and the rubber boots around the gear shifts.

When you finished fitting the kit, refit the centre console and check if you can still get LO ratio properly

If not then I'm afraid its out with the tin snips and remove about 1.5" from the trans tunnel infront of the gear shift, refit and and check again.

Yes I am looking at getting 3rd Gen kits made as soon as I can lay my hands on one and pull it to bits!

But I'd of thought would be near enough the same sort of kit and method of installing.

                          Watch this space...............

Give all the bolt threads on the truck a good dose of WD40 a couple of days before the lift and that should help any rusted threads loosen off easier .
Did my suspension bolts that way and for a 21 year old vehicle they all undid easier as the WD40 had soaked up the threads into the nuts .
