Question 4 Veg Oil users

I got my confirmation of registration with C&E for using Veg Oil this morning, and on the letter it states I must keep a 'Motor Fuels Record'.

What sort of Record do you lot use?? Can it be on the computer, or does it have to be a written document?

Motor fuels record - can be a written document - or stored on pc (excel for eg)
record must include:-
Type of fuel IE SVO
date entry made in record
date of taxable use - date you poured svo into tank
amount used - in litres
and duty payable - pence per litre

I understand these records must be kept for a rolling 5 year period for checking at any time.
