"there are a couple of good pubs in Perrnporth"

I'll say! I got treated like a local in the one right in the centre, the nearer to the road than The Parrot (bugger I can't remember the name). It was music quiz night and the home team was one short. I volunteered and kept quiet that I was a DJ. We won, got locked in and I got very $$$$ed.
The only other places I can really remember in Perranporth are The Seiners Arms (stayed there for a couple of nights when my Dad died).
My brothers brother-in-law runs (or ran) Sergeant Peppers Bistro. When we were down we didn't know who ran the place until we walked in. I got very drrunk on red wine. (Cheers Derek)
I'm trying to talk Mrs KS into us going to Cornwall for the last week in April/1st week in May. I have said to her that I will drive, if she is worried about the long journey and she can fly to Exeter from Luton. The trouble is she doesn't like flying either, Grrrrrrrrr!

                      It's only a hobby!

If i remember the Green Parrot is set just back from the road and the Tywarnehayle(think thats the right name) is on the main road

or even fly straight to newquay not far to go then

yep... not too sure the spelling of that pub, or how to say it!

had a few good new years in the watering hole on the beach too.
